Notice of Theater Commons’20 program change and upcoming events information

Following a request from the government to cancel or postpone all big sport and cultural events, after careful discussion with related organizations, Theater Commons Tokyo Executive Committee has reached the decision to continue the project with several changes in program.

◎Reading performance
2/29、3/5、3/6、3/8 Satoko Ichihara / Giacomo Puccini “Madama Butterfly”
3/5、3/6、3/8 Daichi Nakamura / Shuntaro Matsubara “Keep Your Front Up”
・Considering the size of the venue and performance style such as reading together, the program will be modified to online broadcasting.
・Participants will be informed of the details via email.
・We apologize to everyone who was wishing to participate in reading performance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

◎ Commons Forum
2/29 Commons Forum #1 “Arts and Society”
3/3 Commons Forum #2 “Arts and Public”
3/7  Commons Forum #3 “Arts and Virtuality”
3/8  Commons Forum #4 “Arts and Politics”
・Forums will be broadcasted online without live audience.
・Regardless reservation, the link to the broadcasting channel will be sent to all purchasers of the pass by February 29.
・We will inform you in case of absence or change of any foreign guests.

◎ “A Crisis Management Workshop in the Age of Arts Festivals”
・The workshop will be broadcasted online.
・The details has been sent to participants via email. Please be sure to check it.

◎ Other programs
・2/27, 2/28 With careful measures to prevent the spread of infection, Sankar Venkateswaran’s “Indian Rope Trick” will be performed as planned.

・3/1, 3/2 Kyun-Chome’s workshop “Softest Places” will be held as planned. Participants will be informed of the details via email.

・3/7、3/8 Nahum “Another Life” / “Orbital Poetics”
