Monira Al Qadiri
At the age of 16 Monira Al Qadiri moved from Kuwait to study in Japan, and received her Ph.D. in Intermedia Art from Tokyo University of the Arts. She works in a variety of mediums, including video, sculpture, and installation, bringing together her early fascination with Japanese anime and her acute insight on the Middle East, where she was born and raised. Al Qadiri blends phenomena that society and religion have deemed separate —the sacred and the profane, men and women, the dead and the living, good and evil—transgressing these boundaries with her unique sorrow and humor.
In recent years, she participated in numerous international exhibitions, including the Athens Biennale 2018 and the Sharjah Biennial 2019, and presented performance works at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts 2017 and the Aichi Triennale 2019. In 2020, she held a solo exhibition at the Haus der Kunst in Munich. She is currently based in Berlin.

Raed Yassin
Raed Yassin (born 1979, Beirut) is an artist and musician. He graduated from the theater department at the Institute of Fine Arts in Beirut in 2003, and since then has developed his conceptual practice through multiple mediums such as video, sound, photography, text, sculpture and performance. Yassin’s work often originates from an examination of his personal narratives and their position within a collective history, through the lens of consumer culture and mass production. He was a resident artist at De Ateliers, Amsterdam (2008–2010), the Delfina Foundation, London (2010, 2014), Akademie der Künste der Welt, Cologne (2015), and is a recipient of the Abraaj Group Art Prize (2012). As a musician, he is one of the organizers of the Irtijal Festival for Experimental Music (Beirut), and has released several solo music albums, as well as part of groups such as “A” Trio and PRAED.” In 2009, he founded his independent music label Annihaya. Raed currently lives between Berlin and Beirut.

So Kanno
Born in 1984 in Aomori and raised in Chiba, Japan, So Kanno is based in Berlin since 2013.
He created various installations using drawing robots and swarm robots.
He participated in many international group exhibitions including Ars Electronica, “Artists & Robots” at the Grand Palais in Paris, and the Aichi Triennale, and received numerous awards from the Japan Media Arts Festival.
